The Savannah-Chatham County Public
School System recognized Anastasia Cail-Greene at this month’s board meeting as
the Superintendent’s Student of the month of February 2019. Our featured
student attends Coastal Middle School and is in eighth grade.
Anastasia is
described as “a student who is so motivated, caring and such a great help to
teachers and others.” While she is currently taking many honors classes, she
stays for tutorial when needed and dedicates her time to her academics. She is
REACH Scholar nominee, a past recipient of the President’s Education Award, yearly
Honor Roll student, and on the principal's Honor Roll. Additionally, she is a
member of the Duke University Talent Identification Program and the National
Junior Honor Society.
Anastasia volunteers
with her school’s wrestling team and Senior Citizens Inc. She has set realistic
goals for high school, college and career that are attainable and meaningful to
her. She says, “Having academic success allows me to strive to be the most
excellent me I can be. It will allow me to do great things!”
We
are proud to announce the Superintendent’s Student of the Month for February
2019 is Anastasia Cail-Greene! Congratulations to our student, her family, and
the faculty and staff of Coastal Middle School!
