Bank of America has made a $30,000 donation to the Educate Chatham Foundation to benefit Savannah Chatham County Public School students. This donation will be used to provide technology devices for students to ensure there is not a technology barrier for their successful learning. SCCPSS is starting the school year with online learning. Student access to technology is a critical component in the work to provide educational continuity for students.
“Starting the school year in a virtual learning mode has been made easier, thanks to the generous support of Bank of America," said Superintendent Ann Levett. “We are grateful for their donation and are proud to be VIRTUALLY UNSTOPPABLE!"
Bank of America donated funds to the Technology@Home campaign for the purchase of technology devices such as Chromebooks, personal hot spots, and other technology accessories. “Our partnership with nonprofit organizations like the Educate Savannah Foundation helps to address critical needs in our community," said Patrick O'Neil, Savannah market president for Bank of America. “Ensuring that resources are available to those who need them most during this challenging time is part of our commitment to the Savannah region."
