Our featured Student of the Month for February is an eighth grader at West Chatham. Her teachers describe her as “a very ambitious student who has embraced the virtual experience and has taken ownership of her education." She communicates effectively with her teachers to demonstrate that she is completing assignments on time, she seeks out enrichment and asks if she can do more. Motivation is the key word for our Student of the Month.
She is noted as one of the highest-scoring students in her Social Studies class with excellent grades across all her subjects. Her accomplishments include Honor Roll, MVP for West Chatham Middle School Cheer Team, and perfect attendance. She is a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Junior Police Academy, Chorus, Fashion Designing, Girls Without Limits, and Family Changes.
When she was asked what motivates her to strive for academic success, she explained, “My parents motivate me! My family supports me to make sure that I accomplish this so I can get into great schools later. I do it for myself, and to make my parents and my family proud.
