Four SCCPSS Students Win Awards in Annual Statewide Law Day Poster Contest

In celebration of Law Day, the Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts, Georgia Council of Court Administrators, and the Georgia Department of Education sponsored the Second Annual Law Day coloring/poster contest. The Judicial Council met on April 27 in Athens, GA, and judged the four categories: Pre-K thru 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade thru 5th Grade, Original Middle School Poster, Original High School Poster.

Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools had two first place winners in both the Pre-K thru 2nd grade level and the 3rd thru 5th grade level!  In addition, the district brought home both 2nd and 3rd place in the middle school division!

Congratulations to A.B. Williams Elementary students Kailey Holly and Deztiny Favors on their first place wins, and to STEM Academy @ Bartlett students Linea Romano and Samira Ewetola on their 2nd and 3rd place awards!  The students were invited to attend a reception at the Chatham County Courthouse.
