Gould Elementary 21st Century Named Best SCCPSS Program for 2017-18 School Year

On Saturday, August 25, 2018. Carrie E. Gould Elementary School's 21st Century Program was named the Top SCCPSS Program for 2017-18.  Barbara Pitts, Gould's 21st Century Coordinator for 2017-18 was accompanied by Maureen Walker, Gould's 2018-19 Lead 21st Century Teacher to receive the awards. 

Under Mrs. Pitt's leadership and with the dedication of the Gould 21st Century Staff, Gould Elementary garnered the Certificate of Excellence for the following areas:

  • 100% Achievement of their Goals and Objectives 
  • 84.3% Attendance
  • GMAS Accomplishments:
    • The highest number of 21st Century students to Achieve Level 4 in Math 
    • The highest number of 21st Century students to Achieve Level 3 in Math 
    • The highest number of 21st Century students to Achieve Level 3 in ELA

As well as. . . . . The Top Overall 21st Century Learning Center of SCCPSS for 2017-18

Gould Elementary Principal Jim Roszkowiak said, “Congratulations Mrs. Pitts, the 21st Century Teachers and Advocates for making this possible."
