The Islands FFA Senior Veterinary Science team recently placed 3rd in the state at the competition hosted in Perry, GA. Students had to complete a written test, perform handling and clinical practicums, and identify veterinary tools, animal breeds, and both internal and external parasites. The team consisted of Abby Van Brimmer, Alex King-Castro, Katiana Boland, and Teylor Tomlin. Abby Van Brimmer also placed 2nd high individual.
