Thousands of SCCPSS families gathered in Daffin Park on Saturday, April 22, 2023 for a FREE family event to celebrated reading and literacy – “Books, Blankets & Family Fun!" This is the biggest school district Family Engagement Event of the year.
In addition to some beautiful weather, families enjoyed a wide variety of food trucks, musical performances, games, reading activities, and special guests! A Teddy Bear Clinic was also held.
The top 3 schools with the most parent attendance will receive prizes.
