Mercer Middle School Social Studies Teacher Tomekia Williams, has been selected as this year's JA Colonial Group Discovery Center's Top Educator for JA Finance Park.
Mrs. Williams will be highlighted on the JA Finance Park social media accounts during Teacher Appreciation Week, and has been invited to be their guest of honor at the Teacher Appreciation Celebration on May 11, 2023.
Opened in 2022, the JA Colonial Group Discovery Center is a 25,000 sq. ft. facility located on Savannah's Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University. The JA Discovery Center offers middle school students in Coastal Georgia the opportunity to experience their futures via JA Finance Park and JA BizTown.
