The Savannah Chapter of The Links, Inc. along with Savannah Chatham-County Public Schools, and Savannah State University presented the New Beginnings Youth Art Showcase in the Asa H. Gordon Library on the campus of Savannah State University.
The exhibit features Savannah-Chatham County middle and high school students' art work, inspired by various mediums. There was a reception following a walk-through viewing of the art with Mayor Van Johnson delivering remarks.
The competition awards first, second, and third place in both high school and middle school divisions, as well as a Best in Show.
