Parker Cooper, an 8th grader at Georgetown K-8 School, is the May Student of the Month. He is said to be the epitome of perseverance, diligence, respect, and kindness rolled into one being!
Parker consistently displays a great desire for learning and shows this in all classes by asking questions that not only show his understanding but also his determination to push himself to higher levels. He is very active at Georgetown. He has coordinated morning announcements, received a Citizenship Award, served as FBLA Vice President, participated in the Drama Club, and has acted as a Peer Mediator throughout his tenure at school. He is also an Honor Roll student! Outside of school, he has recorded 245 volunteer hours at the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum as a camp counselor last summer.
Parker says, "Education is the foundation for a successful life and necessary to achieve my goals and to contribute positively to society."

Additionally, he will receive a free one-topping small pizza certificate donated by Donatos Pizza.
