Published on: 8/17/2022

Port City Logistics donated 250 packed book bags to the school system for grades Pre-K through 6 grades just in time for the start of school.  The book bags, stuffed with supplies for students, were made possible through the generosity of the employees and management of the company.  “We know there is a need in Savannah-Chatham schools, and we want to do our part to make sure students have the supplies to be successful in class," said Regina Labis, Executive Assistant.

The book bags were delivered to the Student Services Center august 2, and will be distributed to students throughout the district.

Port City Logistics is a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company established in 2001. In 2001, Port City opened in Savannah with one warehouse.  As the Savannah port has grown, so has Port City Logistics.  Today, they offer multiple facilities and four million square feet of warehouse space.
