The Eichholz Law Firm is proud to announce its 2020 Higher Education Scholarship recipient is Kara Harper, Savannah Arts Academy, class of 2020. Kara will be attending the University of Georgia this fall and hopes to eventually earn a Doctorate of Pharmacy with an emphasis on Public Health.

While the Eichholz Law Firm received many competitive applications this year, Kara’s dedication to both academic achievement and community service were particularly noteworthy. In addition to graduating with a 3.8 GPA from Savannah Arts Academy, Kara has fundraised for Special Olympics and volunteered with the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, the Tim Tebow Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal
Empire’s Yellow Shoe Crew. In addition, Kara started her own early reading initiative called Book Barn Babies, which provides free books to children receiving care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at Memorial Health in Savannah.
In recognition of these achievements, the Eichholz Law Firm has awarded $1,500 to Kara to help her pursue her education at the University of Georgia.
