The Decision Day event held at Sol C. Johnson High School serves as a remarkable celebration of the accomplishments and future endeavors of our graduating seniors. It emphasizes the significance of this pivotal moment in their lives, where they embark on the next chapter of their educational and professional journey.
In today's rapidly evolving world, pursuing higher education and diverse career goals has become more crucial than ever before. The decision day event underscores the relevance and importance of this pursuit by providing a platform for students to showcase their choices and celebrate the passion and determination that drives them towards their desired paths.
By recognizing and honoring the decisions made by our seniors, we not only applaud their achievements but also inspire other students to embrace their own dreams and aspirations. It reinforces the belief that education is a lifelong journey, and the decisions made today will shape the course of their future endeavors.

As the Counseling Department of Sol C. Johnson High School, on behalf of Principal Derrick Dozier Muhammad hosts the very first Decision Day, School Counselor Mrs. Angela Corinthian shares this charge to their graduating seniors, "Continue your education and training to find your passion and purpose in life. Be productive and successful citizens. Finally, remember our motto, "Not to equal, but excel."
