The Links, a national organization with a local Savannah Chapter, has made a donation to the Educate Chatham Foundation to benefit Savannah Chatham County Public School students. This donation will be used to provide technology devices for students to ensure there is not a technology barrier for their successful learning. Student access to technology is a critical component in the work to provide educational continuity for students.
“The Links have supported educational endeavors in Savannah-Chatham County for a long time," said Superintendent Ann Levett. “This generous donation will give our young scholars the technology support they need to be VIRTUALLY UNSTOPPABLE!"
The Links donated funds to the Technology@Home campaign for the purchase of technology devices such as Chromebooks, personal hot spots, and other technology accessories. “When we asked how we might positively impact the community during these uncertain times, it seemed right to put our energy into youth and education."
