The STEM Academy @ Bartlett has once again been recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for 2021–2024 for its use of technology including a 1:1 iPad program and integration of apps across the curriculum to create a culture of innovation and academic achievement.
Apple Distinguished Schools are centers of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence that use technology to inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. They showcase innovative uses of technology in learning, teaching, and the school environment and have documented results of academic accomplishment.
Dr. Jimmie Cave, STEM principal, states, “It is tremendous to be recognized as an Apple Distinguished School once again. Our teachers do an excellent job of incorporating iPad and apps to create innovative spaces for students to learn and grow. I'm so proud of our staff and students for this accomplishment."

Part of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, The STEM Academy @ Bartlett is a choice middle school serving sixth through eighth grade students. The school is certified as a Georgia STEAM middle school and has been recognized as a Lighthouse School to Watch by The National Middle School Association.
