Vaden Chevrolet Pooler presented a $25,000 to Pooler Elementary School on Tuesday, August 18th. The presentation took place in the showroom of Vaden Chevrolet Pooler and included leadership from Pooler Elementary School/PTA, Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) and Vaden Automotive President, Jane Vaden Thacher.
“Our check for $25,000 is being presented so that every student at Pooler Elementary has access to a computer”, said Thacher. “This gift in tandem with our previous COWS (Computer on Wheels) makes that goal now a reality”, added Thacher. “As we are all figuring out how best to navigate life during a pandemic, we didn’t want parents worrying about technology needs at this time. It is costly and the demand is so high as e-learning becomes part of our collective new normal.”
