Georgia United Credit Union Foundation in partnership with Georgia United Credit Union is excited to announce seven grant recipients of the 2023 Georgia United Foundation School Crashers program. Windsor Forest Elementary School in Savannah, GA is the first recipient of this renovation award, after Kindergarten teacher Barbara Smith nominated the school to be selected for this honor. Georgia United Credit Union CEO, Debbie Smith along with team members, Assoc. Superintendent Julian Childers, and Economic Development personnel Clyde Newton ventured to the school to surprise Principal Dr. Gilbert-Collins and staff with the news.

The selected area for renovation will be the Faculty Recharge Room with Mohawk Flooring. "We are looking forward to serving our communities and strengthening our school systems throughout the tenth annual School Crashers program," shared Debbie Smith, President and CEO of Georgia United Credit Union.

This project is slated to be complete by the end of Summer 2023 as a gift to the hard-working and dedicated staff at Windsor Forest Elem. to refuel and refresh throughout their day.
