Woodville-Tompkins Student Finds True Calling In Culinary Arts

Published on: 3/7/2023

When Heaven Cummings came to Woodville-Tompkins in her freshman year, she came with every intention of being a cosmetologist.  It was all she ever talked about. However, after taking one culinary arts class with Chef Bosier,  something just clicked and her purpose was birthed.  "Woodville ignited her passion for culinary arts and business," said Stephanie Cummings.  "Chef  Bosier has equipped her with the necessary skills and confidence needed to soar in this field."
Heaven turned 17 on Friday, but she spent the weekend prepping for her first big event. She catered a baby shower for over 80 people!

Heaven will attend Lincoln University in the fall, majoring in Food Science. Her plan is to become a culinary chemist.

Congratulations to Heaven and to the team at Woodville-Tompkins for helping her achieve her dream!  heaven 2.jpg
