CAP helps unemployed and under-employed Chatham County residents find or create career paths that offer family-sustaining wages and opportunities for advancement.
CAP Sessions Cover:
- How to present yourself to potential employers
- Resume writing, teamwork, and conflict resolution
- Personal budgeting and how to build and repair your credit
- Assistance with obtaining a Forklift Safety Training certification, a Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) card, ServSafe certification, or Partial CDL Scholarship
Due to the recent community surge in the Covid-19 pandemic, our Chatham Apprentice Program Session beginning August 23rd will be held online only. The class will be held Monday, August 23rd, through Thursday, September 16th, from 2 – 5 pm via ZOOM.
