The Teach Savannah Learning Academy (TSLA) is a 12-18-month alternative route teacher certification program specifically designed for eligible Savannah-Chatham County Public School System teacher candidates, aligned with GaPSC Standards. On December 11, 2020, a virtual celebration was held for the first cohort to officially exit the program! This group of teacher candidates entered the program in October 2019. Congratulations to this wonderful group of educators!

Ms. Rachel Poli, Ms. Swathi Dharapurapu, and Mr. Eddie Brown were chosen as TSLA Ambassadors! Each candidate displays respect for their students, creates a sense of community and belonging, sets high expectations for all students, consistently works hard and diligently toward meeting all of the TSLA requirements without fail, and maintains professionalism in all areas at all times.
