​​Dear Students and Parents,

We are excited to announce that tryouts for the Godley Station School Athletics program are just around Starting next week! If you're in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and interested in participating in our sports teams, please read the following information carefully.

Eligibility Requirements:

*Athletics are open to students in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades who meet the eligibility requirements.

Physical/Participation Packet:

*To try out for any of our sports teams, students must complete the Godley Station School Physical/Participation Packet. Parents can pick up the packets from Coach King while they last, or they can request to have them emailed. Please note that physicals are valid for one year from the date they are signed.

(Only need 1 for all sports)
Current Sports Offered and Tryout Details:

We are offering the following sports for the upcoming season:

Football – 7th and 8th Grade Boys (Through West Chatham Middle School)

Start times and dates for tryouts are yet to be confirmed.

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from campus sites for FOOTBALL.

Softball-- 6-8 Girls

Tryouts: August 8-11 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Practice times will be longer after the tryouts.

Cross Country-- 6-8 Boys/Girls

Tryouts: August 8-11 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

*Athletes need to bring water and athletic attire to change into. Dress code appropriate.

If equipment is needed, please see Coach King to borrow.

Students will stay at school; they do not go home.
