Massie Heritage Center proudly hosted the annual Coastal Museum Association's Awards of Excellence ceremony, on Friday, June 3, 2022. This ceremony recognizes CMA-member sites that showcased projects and individuals who led the field in outstanding ways during the past year. Museums and sites that were awarded include our friends from the Andrew Low House, the Davenport House, the Ships of the Sea Museum, and the Georgia Historical Society. Local volunteer Wilma Wheaton was also awarded in acknowledgement for her tireless involvement in the community. Please join us in congratulating these deserving sites for their outstanding work.
