School Council Election

We would like to thank Mr. Charles McMillan of McMillan and Associates who came on Friday morning to count ballots and certify the official vote. We appreciate his time and expertise during this election process.

We also want to thank all of those who were willing to serve on the School Council and submitted their bios. We had wonderful candidates, and May Howard is fortunate to have so many great parents volunteer their time and talent to our school!

And lastly, thanks to all of the parents who took the time to cast their votes for the School Council vacancies. It is so important to have your voice heard.

Let’s all congratulate our next two Parent Representatives who will serve on the School Council for the next two years. Ms. Niki Davis and Mr. Jason Gamble were both elected to serve. Niki has two children at May Howard and has 13 years of teaching experience, as well as being a member of the PTA. Jason has had children at May Howard since 2008. In 2016, his wife, Paige, joined the staff as a Paraprofessional. He has been an avid volunteer and PTA member.

Both of our new parent council members are excited about becoming more involved through this process. Congratulations to our newest members. We know that they will make great additions to our council!
