Visit Oatland - COVID Guidelines

Published on:

As part of our commitment to the continued well-being of our visitors, employees and the animals in our care, and in ongoing efforts to assist the Savannah community in preventing the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented enhanced protocols and procedures you will notice during your visit to Oatland Island.

Reservations are no longer required. Admissions are available at the booth when you arrive for your visit.

A visit to Oatland Island is mostly an outdoor experience, however, masks are required to enter some areas of the center.

You will find hand sanitizing stations throughout Oatland Island.

We are frequently cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and common touchpoints.

The Welcome Center has limited access, please respect all boundary lines set up. The Gift Shop is open, however, occupancy will be limited to one family group at a time. Additionally, masks and temperature checks are REQUIRED to enter the Welcome Center.

Visuals at some habitats will suggest where guests should stand to watch the animals, but are not required.

We thank you for your continued support in our efforts to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
